Dr. Sapna holds a Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) degree and she is also a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the Faculty of Dental Science. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge also led her to acquire a Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital and Healthcare Management (PGDHHM) and the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow) – FDS RCPS (Glas).
Throughout her illustrious career, Dr. Hegde has worn multiple hats, including clinical, academic, and administrative roles. She served as the Head of Department for 15 years and as Vice-Principal for 4 years, demonstrating her eagerness to understand management policies for delivering superior patient care. Dr. Hegde’s passion for teaching is evident, as she has successfully guided numerous students through their undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Dr. Hegde’s contributions to the pediatric dentistry field extend to her extensive publications, both internationally and nationally, and numerous speaking engagements at scientific gatherings.
