Dr. Omar Said is a qualified Specialist Orthodontist with a Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery (BDS). Dr. Omar started his orthodontic path at the University of Bordeaux in France. After which he completed an Orthodontic Preceptorship program at the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles, U.S.A. Following that he received his Orthodontic Specialty Certificate as well as his Master of Science degree from the reputable University of Rochester, U.S.A.
During his residency, he attended the renowned Tweed course, an intense course devoted to learning orthodontics and improving clinical skills which is also known as the oldest continuing education course within dentistry.
Dr. Omar continued his stay in the U.S.A., working at the university’s orthodontic clinic and was involved with academia and research.
Due to his dedication to high standards of treatment and care for his patients, Dr. Omar became a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This required hundreds of additional hours of preparation to test judgement, skill and knowledge to demonstrate the highest quality of orthodontic care. This distinguished qualification is only held by 1 in 3 orthodontists in the U.S.A.
Due to the diversity in his training, Dr. Omar is proficient in different schools of treatment including extraction, non-extraction and uses different appliances including regular braces, clear braces, Damon Braces and Invisalign. He always ensures that his patient is comfortable and gets the best result possible.
In addition, Dr. Omar is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists. He is also a Wilckodontics Certified Professional offering accelerated osteogenic orthodontics that ensures a speedy treatment.
Dr. Omar enjoys camping, soccer, going to the beach and staying up-to-date with the latest innovations in orthodontics.
